This OID carries the Relative Name (RN) of a MountInst object, the live, running instance of an NFS mount that was created from a MountDef and is (or was) actually attached — the naming component that distinguishes this instance from its siblings under the same parent object. Because MountInst instances are addressed by concatenating RNs down the management tree, an admin uses this value together with the parent DN to reconstruct exactly where this instance sits. For example, two MountInst instances that share the same parent will report different cucsNfsMountInstRn strings, letting a script tell them apart even when their other property values look identical.
