Description: Cisco UCS nfs:MountInstFsm:fsmStatus managed object property

What is cucsNfsMountInstFsmFsmStatus?

On a MountInstFsm object -- the finite-state-machine (FSM) task UCS Manager runs while it mounts, unmounts, or validates that NFS mount -- cucsNfsMountInstFsmFsmStatus is the current FSM status/stage-status, reporting where UCS Manager's internal state machine has gotten to while executing this operation. An admin watches this value to tell whether the underlying operation is still in progress, has completed, or has stalled at a particular stage, without needing to open the full UCS Manager GUI. For example, an admin troubleshooting a hung operation would poll cucsNfsMountInstFsmFsmStatus repeatedly to see whether the stage value is advancing or frozen on the same stage.
