This OID holds a free-text snapshot description of the current or last workflow stage recorded directly on a MountDef object — the saved definition of one NFS mount (which server and export path it points at and what it is used for) that UCS can mount. An admin reads this denormalized copy of the stage description straight off the parent object, without needing to separately query the underlying Fsm/FsmStage class rows, for a quick status check. For example, polling just this one OID on a MountDef object during a change window gives the admin the same plain-language stage detail that would otherwise require a second query against the MountDefFsm table.
