The MIB's DESCRIPTION for cucsLsServerExtIPState is only the auto-generated stub 'Cisco UCS ls:Server:extIPState managed object property', but the 'extIPState' property name together with its CucsVnicExternalMgmtIPMode type tell us this column, on the service profile itself — the logical server definition applied to a physical blade, holds the extIPState as UCS Manager's data model defines it, exposed here as a read-only SNMP value (read-only). The extIPState reports the state of this service profile's external (out-of-band) management IP configuration for its associated server's CIMC, using the CucsVnicExternalMgmtIPMode enumeration. A profile configured to hand its server's CIMC a static out-of-band IP would show that mode here, distinct from a pooled or DHCP-assigned scheme.
