What is cucsLsServerAssignState?

The MIB's DESCRIPTION for cucsLsServerAssignState is only the auto-generated stub 'Cisco UCS ls:Server:assignState managed object property', but the 'assignState' property name together with its CucsLsAssignment type tell us this column, on the service profile itself — the logical server definition applied to a physical blade, holds the assignState as UCS Manager's data model defines it, exposed here as a read-only SNMP value (read-only). The assignState reports whether this service profile is currently assigned to a physical server at all, using the CucsLsAssignment enumeration — a coarser check than assocState, answering simply 'does this profile have hardware'. A newly created but not-yet-deployed profile would show an unassigned assignState until an admin or a pool actually attaches it to a server.
