OID (symbolic): CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-IP-MIB::cucsIpServiceIfDn

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.66.3.1.2

Access: read-only

Description: Cisco UCS ip:ServiceIf:dn managed object property

What is cucsIpServiceIfDn?

This is the dn (Distinguished Name) that uniquely pinpoints one specific instance of the management service interface itself (e.g. the mgmt0 port on a fabric interconnect) used for out-of-band management traffic in UCS Manager's management information tree. Because a dn always encodes the full path from its parent down to this exact record, an admin or monitoring tool reading this value knows precisely which ServiceIf instance it is looking at without a separate lookup — here the object sits the management-interface object on a fabric interconnect or chassis IOM. A real value would look like 'sys/switch-A/mgmt-if', identifying this exact record rather than any sibling instance of the same class.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.66.3.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-IP-MIB::cucsIpServiceIfDn

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.66.3.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-IP-MIB::cucsIpServiceIfDn.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cucsIpServiceIfDn.1
