Gauge32 on a gmeta:Holder is a 0-100 percent-complete counter for the inventory/sync FSM currently running against that holder's target object. It gives an at-a-glance sense of whether a long inventory pass on a given blade, adapter, or chassis is nearly done or barely started, which matters when an admin is waiting for a newly inserted card's status to populate before configuring it. A value stuck at, say, 40 percent across repeated polls would flag a stalled inventory rather than one still legitimately progressing.
