What is cucsFaultPolicyRetentionInterval?
This is the length of time, in seconds, that a cleared fault is retained and still visible in UCS Manager's fault history after it clears. An admin doing post-incident review relies on this interval being long enough that a fault which cleared overnight is still visible the next morning during a shift handoff, rather than having already been purged by the time anyone checks. A retention interval of 86400 seconds, 24 hours, means a fault that clears at 2am would still be visible in the fault list at 9am the next morning for the day shift to review.
