Description: Cisco UCS extpol:Controller:capability managed object property

What is cucsExtpolControllerCapability?

This is a bitmask/enumeration of which categories of UCS Manager data or policy this Controller advertises it can supply or consume. On this specific cucsExtpolControllerCapability instance, the set of capability flags determines which parts of the extpol data model UCS Manager will actually route to or from this controller — a controller missing the fault-feed capability, for instance, will never see fault updates even if it later expresses interest in them. For example, capability might be set to a value representing 'inventory + fault' for one controller while a different one is limited to 'config-only'.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EXTPOL-MIB::cucsExtpolControllerCapability

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.719.1.62.3.1.4.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-UNIFIED-COMPUTING-EXTPOL-MIB::cucsExtpolControllerCapability.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cucsExtpolControllerCapability.1
