ciscoScsiFlowRowStatus

Module: CISCO-SCSI-FLOW-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-SCSI-FLOW-MIB::ciscoScsiFlowRowStatus

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.447.1.1.2.1.15

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: RowStatus

Access: read-write

Description: The status of this conceptual row.

When creating an entry in this table, the management application MUST set values for the corresponding instances of ciscoScsiFlowIntrWwn and ciscoScsiFlowTargetWwn before or concurrently with setting this object to 'active'.

What is ciscoScsiFlowRowStatus?

This standard SNMP RowStatus object governs the lifecycle (creating, activating, or destroying) of this SCSI flow's conceptual table row, and per the desc the management application must set both ciscoScsiFlowIntrWwn and ciscoScsiFlowTargetWwn before or at the same time it sets this object to active(1). An admin provisioning a new flow between a specific host and array follows exactly this sequence via SNMP SET operations to bring the flow into service; skipping the WWN assignments before activation would leave the row in a rejected or inconsistent state. Setting this to destroy(6) after decommissioning a host removes the flow entry and stops any associated statistics collection or write-acceleration for that path.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.447.1.1.2.1.15
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-SCSI-FLOW-MIB::ciscoScsiFlowRowStatus

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.447.1.1.2.1.15.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-SCSI-FLOW-MIB::ciscoScsiFlowRowStatus.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.447.1.1.2.1.15.1 s <value>
