An admin would expect this count to be low and mostly occur during initial discovery or after a topology change, so a flow showing a continually climbing Report LUNs count suggests the host is repeatedly re-discovering LUNs, possibly due to unstable connectivity or a misbehaving driver. A single spike right after a storage array reconfiguration, followed by the count going flat again, would be the expected, healthy pattern.
