This counter tracks how many SCSI 'Read Capacity' commands - used by a host to determine the size of a LUN - have been sent on this flow. An admin would normally expect this count to increment only during initial LUN discovery or after a LUN has been resized, so a flow where this keeps climbing during steady-state operation suggests the host is re-checking LUN size unexpectedly often, which can indicate multipath failover/failback cycling on that path. A count that jumps right after a storage administrator expanded a LUN, and then goes flat, is the expected and benign pattern.
