This object reports whether the initiator device referenced by this flow's WWN has actually been verified to exist and be correctly reachable on the fabric, using a Cisco-defined reason code. An admin whose flow is not passing traffic checks this status first to see if the underlying problem is simply that the configured initiator device cannot currently be confirmed on the SAN - for instance because the host's HBA is offline - rather than an issue with the flow feature configuration itself. A status reporting something other than verified would tell the admin to check the physical host and its HBA link before troubleshooting the flow settings further.
