lineLoopbackCommand

Module: CISCO-MGX82XX-DSX1-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-MGX82XX-DSX1-MIB::lineLoopbackCommand

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.3.1.1.1.1.8

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: This variable represents the loopback confi- guration of the DS1 interface. Agents support- ing read/write access should return badValue in response to a requested loopback state that the interface does not support. The values mean:

dsx1NoLoop Not in the loopback state. A device that is not capable of performing a loopback on the interface shall always return this as it's value.

dsx1RemoteLoop The received signal at this interface is looped through the device. Typically the received signal is looped back for retransmission after it has passed through the device's framing function.

dsx1LocalLoop The local data is looped back dsx1PayloadLoop This will loop only the payload and not framing/sync bit.

What is lineLoopbackCommand?

Configures the loopback mode for a DS1 (T1) interface, letting an operator command the interface into a specific loopback state for testing purposes.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-MGX82XX-DSX1-MIB::lineLoopbackCommand

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.3.1.1.1.1.8.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-MGX82XX-DSX1-MIB::lineLoopbackCommand.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.351.110.4.3.1.1.1.1.8.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> lineLoopbackCommand.1
