Module: CISCO-ITP-MLR-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-ITP-MLR-MIB::cmlrResultWeight

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.396.1.9.1.7

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-create

Description:

This object specifies the weight applied to the weighted round robin distribution algorithm used for multi-layer result group. An integer value in the range of 0 to 10. A value of ten indicates the resource should be selected ten times more than a resource assigned a weight of one.

What is cmlrResultWeight?

This parameter (0-10) specifies the relative weight used in weighted round-robin load balancing for a particular result resource in a multi-layer routing group. A weight of 10 means this resource should be selected 10 times more frequently than a resource with weight 1, allowing operators to manually tune traffic distribution based on resource capacity. An ITP (IP Transfer Point) administrator would adjust these weights to balance traffic across resources with different capabilities or costs.
