Description: The notification generated when a link changes to a new state. The value of cgspLinkState indicates the new state.
What is ciscoGspLinkStateChange?
This notification is generated whenever a signaling link in the SS7 network transitions to a different operational state. The notification includes information about which link changed state and what the new state is (such as in-service, testing, or unavailable). Operators and network monitoring systems use this trap to immediately detect changes in SS7 link availability and take appropriate actions such as rerouting traffic.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
