The notification generated when a link changes to a new congestion level as specified by cgspLinkCongestionState object for Transmission Side congestion.
What is ciscoGspCongestionChange?
This notification alerts operators when a signaling link in a Cisco IP Transfer Point gateway changes to a new congestion state. The notification is triggered as the link transitions between clear, congested, or out-of-service states. Operators use this to monitor and respond to congestion issues that may affect SS7 signaling traffic delivery.
Examples
Send this trap to an SNMP manager — replace <manager> with the IP or hostname of your monitoring server (SNMPv2c):
snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' CISCO-ITP-GSP-MIB::ciscoGspCongestionChange snmptrap -v2c -c public <manager> '' 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.336.0.3
Listen for incoming traps on the manager host (-f keeps it in the foreground, -Lo prints to stdout — useful for testing):
snmptrapd -f -Lo -c /dev/null authCommunity log public
