OID (symbolic): CISCO-IPMCAST-MIB::igmpCondFilterIfStatus
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.4.1.3.3.1.2
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Description: An indication of whether the presense of an IP multicast router on this interface is to be determined statically or dynamically. The values routerPresent(1) and noRouter(2) indicate that the presence of a router is statically determined to be present or not-present, respectively. The value dynamic(3) indicates the presence is to be determined dynamically.
What is igmpCondFilterIfStatus?
This determines whether the presence of an IP multicast router on this interface is assumed statically or determined dynamically, per its description, with routerPresent(1) and noRouter(2) as fixed manual overrides and dynamic(3) letting the router detect it automatically. It matters for Conditional Filtering decisions, since igmpCondFilterIfRouter's live value only reflects reality when this is set to dynamic - a static setting can mask an actual change in router presence on that segment. An admin who hard-codes this to noRouter(2) on a stub LAN interface would stop that interface from ever forwarding multicast traffic meant only for downstream routers, regardless of what's actually plugged in.

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.4.1.3.3.1.2 snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IPMCAST-MIB::igmpCondFilterIfStatus
Get a specific instance (index 1):
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.4.1.3.3.1.2.1 snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-IPMCAST-MIB::igmpCondFilterIfStatus.1
Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):
snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.10.4.1.3.3.1.2.1 i <value>
