fcIfAdminRxPerfBuffer

Module: CISCO-FC-FE-MIB

OID (symbolic): CISCO-FC-FE-MIB::fcIfAdminRxPerfBuffer

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.289.1.1.2.1.32

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: FcPerfBuffer

Access: read-write

Description: The performance buffers configured for this port. These buffers in addition to the buffer-to-buffer credits are used to improve the performance of a port, hence called 'Performance buffers'. If a value of zero is set for this object, then the agent uses the built-in algorithm to calculate the number of performance buffers to be used.

What is fcIfAdminRxPerfBuffer?

This read-write setting configures extra 'performance buffers' beyond normal buffer-to-buffer credits to improve port throughput; a value of zero tells the device to use its built-in default.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.289.1.1.2.1.32
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-FC-FE-MIB::fcIfAdminRxPerfBuffer

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.289.1.1.2.1.32.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CISCO-FC-FE-MIB::fcIfAdminRxPerfBuffer.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.289.1.1.2.1.32.1 s <value>
