What is cddGeneralMetricProfPriority?

This object sets the priority ranking assigned to a specific metric within a Distributed Director metric profile, since profiles combine multiple metrics like round-trip time and hop count with priority and weight to decide server selection. Because Distributed Director uses priority to decide which metric's judgment wins when metrics disagree, an admin setting this determines whether network proximity or server load takes precedence when routing a client's DNS or HTTP request to one of several redundant servers. A profile prioritizing round-trip-time metrics over a simple hop-count metric would mean a client in Europe gets routed to a European mirror even if a US server has a technically shorter hop count.
