Description: The number of authentication timeouts to this server. After a timeout the client may retry sending to the same server, send to a different server, or give up. A retry to the same server is counted as a retransmit as well as a timeout. A send to a different server is counted as a Request as well as a timeout.

What is cienaCesTacacsClientAuthorizationServerTimeouts?

This counts authorization timeouts specific to this one server row, following the standard double-counting rule, and gives an admin server-level visibility into which specific authorization appliance is causing per-command delays rather than blending all servers into one Global figure. For example, an admin noticing that CLI commands routed through a particular WAN-connected office consistently lag can check whether that office's assigned authorization server row is the one accumulating most of the timeouts.
