What is cienaCesOamPduTimer?
This read-only INTEGER (100 to 1000 ms) reports the interval between successive Information OAMPDUs transmitted on this Ethernet port, per its description, which functions as the OAM session's keepalive heartbeat rate. A shorter interval detects a lost peer faster but adds a small amount of periodic overhead traffic, so this value is the tuning knob behind how quickly cienaCesOamLinkLostTimer's wait period can realistically expire. An engineer calculating the fastest possible OAM-detected link-loss time for a given port would multiply out how many of these intervals fit within the link-lost timer to estimate worst-case detection latency.
