This read-only INTEGER (500 to 5000 ms) reports how long this interface waits for an Information OAMPDU from its peer before declaring the OAM link lost, per its description. This timer, combined with the Information OAMPDU interval, cienaCesOamPduTimer, determines the fastest an OAM-based fault can be detected, a shorter value catches a dead peer faster but risks false failure declarations during transient congestion. An engineer designing an OAM-based fast-failover scheme would check this value to know the guaranteed worst-case detection time before OAM declares the peer unreachable and any dependent protection action can trigger.
