Marker PDUs are used by LACP to verify that frames aren't being misordered or duplicated across the aggregate's member links, so this interval controls how frequently that link-integrity check runs -- a longer interval means slower detection of a member-link ordering problem, a shorter one adds more protocol overhead. A MarkerTimeout of 500ms means the aggregation verifies frame distribution integrity across its member links roughly twice a second.
