Description: If the RemoteID option is on, this value will be used as the Enterprise Number in the RemoteID option field. Uses Broadband Forum value 3561 as default
What is cienaCesDhcpv6LdraRemoteIdEnterpriseNo?
Sets the IANA-assigned Enterprise Number embedded in the RemoteID option field when that option is enabled, defaulting to 3561 (the Broadband Forum's registered number). This number identifies which organization's format the enclosed RemoteID data follows, so a DHCPv6 server parsing this option needs to know this value to correctly interpret the vendor-specific data that follows it -- using the wrong enterprise number would cause the server to misparse or ignore the field. Leaving this at the default 3561 signals to the server that the RemoteID payload follows Broadband Forum conventions rather than some other vendor's custom encoding.
