Type: Counter32

Access: read-only

Description: This object specifies the number of DHCPv6 packets dropped because the new relay frame size would exceed the MTU.

What is cienaCesDhcpv6LdraMplsExceedMTUPktDrop?

Counts DHCPv6 packets on this MPLS VS dropped because adding LDRA's relay options would exceed the MTU. Because MPLS encapsulation itself already consumes some of the frame's available MTU budget, this service is more likely than a plain VLAN to hit this limit if a long IntID/RID string is also configured, so a rising count here should prompt an admin to check both the pseudowire's effective MTU and this service's configured ID strings. A long custom IntID string on an MPLS service already running close to its effective MTU after pseudowire encapsulation overhead would drive this counter up.
