Module: CIENA-CES-DHCPV6-CLIENT-MIB

OID (symbolic): CIENA-CES-DHCPV6-CLIENT-MIB::cienaCesDhcpv6LdraInterfaceId

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.30.1.2.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: Specifies the type of data to use in the InterfaceID option of LDRA messages.

What is cienaCesDhcpv6LdraInterfaceId?

Selects what data LDRA encodes into the Interface-ID option of relayed DHCPv6 messages: the physical slot/port, slot/port plus VLAN, or a freely configured IntID string. This choice determines how granular the location information embedded in every relayed DHCPv6 request is -- slotAndPortAndVlan(2) lets a server distinguish between different VLANs on the same physical port, which slotAndPort(1) alone cannot. Selecting intidString(3) means the server sees a custom label like 'OLT4-PON2' instead of a raw slot/port/VLAN tuple.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.30.1.2.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> CIENA-CES-DHCPV6-CLIENT-MIB::cienaCesDhcpv6LdraInterfaceId

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.30.1.2.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> CIENA-CES-DHCPV6-CLIENT-MIB::cienaCesDhcpv6LdraInterfaceId.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.1271.2.1.30.1.2.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> cienaCesDhcpv6LdraInterfaceId.1
