Description: This object specifies the number of iterations the test has to be conducted. Each test iteration is defined by . Whereas, the test sessions is defined by test iterations over . If this object specifies zero, it means that test is continuous, and iterations are infinite.

What is cienaCesCfmSyntheticLossSessionIterations?

This sets how many test iterations a synthetic-loss session will run, where each iteration is one full cycle of sending the configured SLM count at the configured interval, and per the description a value of zero makes the test run continuously and indefinitely rather than a fixed number of times. An admin doing a quick spot-check would set this to a small number like 5 to get a handful of loss samples and stop, while an admin setting up ongoing SLA compliance monitoring for a customer circuit would set this to 0 so the test keeps running and generating fresh loss data indefinitely.
