Description: This MIB object indicates the number of CCM frames that must go undelivered
for the PBB-TE tunnel before declaring the PBB-TE tunnel as operationally down.
This object is only applicable if cienaCesCfmServiceType is set to pbtTunnel, else this object
should be ignored.
What is cienaCesCfmServiceNumCCMForFault?
This sets the number of consecutive Continuity Check Messages that must go undelivered from a PBB-TE tunnel before the tunnel is declared operationally down, and the object explicitly states it only applies when cienaCesCfmServiceType is set to pbtTunnel; otherwise it should be ignored. An admin tunes this specifically for PBB-TE tunnel services to control how many missed heartbeats are tolerated before triggering a protection switchover, trading fault-detection speed against tolerance for occasional missed CCMs on a noisy path. For example, cienaCesCfmServiceNumCCMForFault set to 3 on a PBB-TE tunnel means three consecutive missed CCMs (rather than just one) are required before the tunnel is declared down and a protection path is invoked.
