Description: This MIB object indicates the administrative state of the CCM Tx.
What is cienaCesCfmServiceCCMTxState?
This reports the administrative state controlling whether this service's MEPs are actively transmitting Continuity Check Messages, distinct from the general service admin/oper state, letting CCM transmission specifically be paused or resumed independently of turning off the whole service's CFM configuration. An admin might disable just CCM transmission (while keeping the rest of the service's CFM configuration intact) during a maintenance window to avoid generating spurious continuity-check failure alarms elsewhere in the network while local work is performed. For example, a technician swapping a card that hosts this service's MEP would set cienaCesCfmServiceCCMTxState to disabled beforehand to prevent remote peers from declaring this service's MEPs failed during the brief planned outage.
