Description: The total number of CCMs with XCON fault received by the CFM MEP.
What is cienaCesCfmMepStatsRxCCMWithXCONFault?
This counts CCMs that triggered an XCON, or cross-connection, fault on this MEP, the condition where a CCM arrives with a Maintenance Association ID that does not match this MEP's own MA, meaning this MEP is receiving heartbeat traffic that actually belongs to a different service. XCON is a serious signal because it usually points to a VLAN or service provisioning error letting two unrelated services' CFM traffic reach the same MEP, a mistake that could also mean actual customer data is similarly leaking between services. A cluster of XCON faults appearing right after a new VLAN was added to a shared trunk port strongly suggests that new VLAN's CFM traffic was not properly isolated from this MEP's existing service.
