Description: The number of CCM frames received with invalid port status TLV.

What is cienaCesCfmGlobalCCMStatsRxInvalidPortStatusTlv?

This counts CCMs received whose optional Port Status TLV, the field a remote MEP uses to signal whether its local port is up, blocking, or otherwise not fully forwarding, could not be parsed or held an unrecognized value. Because operators often rely on the Port Status TLV for early warning that a remote port is degraded before the service itself fails, a bad TLV here means that signal is unavailable for this remote MEP even though basic continuity may still be fine. If this counter increments consistently for CCMs from one particular remote MEP, that remote device's CFM software likely encodes the Port Status TLV in a way this device's parser does not accept.
