Description: The number of frames dropped when the mode is administratively disabled.

What is cienaCesCfmGlobalCCMStatsRxInvalidFirstTlvOffset?

According to the MIB, this counter increments when a frame is dropped because CFM processing was administratively disabled, but the object's own name identifies the more specific trigger as a first-TLV-offset field that does not point where the CCM's fixed header says it should. This is a lower-level frame-integrity check than the malformed-frames counter: it looks at whether the pointer to where optional TLVs begin in the CCM PDU is self-consistent, catching corrupted or crafted frames a length check alone might miss. A device that only sees this counter increment right at a CFM disable-and-reenable cycle is seeing the administrative case the description describes; sustained increments during normal operation instead point to a peer sending malformed CCM offsets.
