Description: The number of ACL rules configured in this profile. There will always be at least one rule defined in each profile - the default rule.

What is cienaCesAclProfileNumRules?

This counts the individual rules that make up this specific ACL profile, and the description notes the count can never be zero since every profile always includes at least the implicit default rule captured by cienaCesAclProfileDefaultFilterAction. An admin uses this per-profile count, alongside the device-wide cienaCesAclNumAclRuleDefs, to see which profiles are simple versus complex, heavily-tuned rule sets approaching the 256 per-profile maximum, helping prioritize which profiles need careful review during a security audit. For example, a profile showing 240 out of a possible 256 rules is close to its own maximum and would need consolidation before an admin could add meaningfully more granular matching to it.
