What Is CASA-CABLE-CMQUERY-MIB?
CASA-CABLE-CMQUERY-MIB is a Casa Systems proprietary MIB exposing per-cable-modem RF signal quality data on Casa Systems CMTS platforms. Its query table, keyed by cable modem, reports MAC/IP address, transmit timing offset, micro-reflections, transmit and receive power levels, and signal-to-noise ratio measured both at the modem and at the CMTS. As a hardware/performance MIB it lets a cable operator diagnose a specific subscriber's RF plant health — a modem with high micro-reflections or low SNR typically indicates a cabling or plant fault. It is deployed on Casa Systems CMTS platforms in cable operator head-ends. Engineers can download the CASA-CABLE-CMQUERY-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
