sBTASensorIndex

Module: Baytech-MIB-403-1

OID (symbolic): Baytech-MIB-403-1::sBTASensorIndex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.4779.3.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-only

Description: This OID allows baytech traps to be sent with an integer argument that may not be defined in the baytech MIB. This is an index to a specific sensor in a DS module.

Value is 1 to number of sensors controlled by the ds module.

A get of this OID will return 0.

What is sBTASensorIndex?

Identifies which sensor on a DS module (numbered from 1 to the total number of sensors) a Baytech trap notification refers to; reading it directly always returns 0 since it is only meaningful when carried alongside a trap.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> Baytech-MIB-403-1::sBTASensorIndex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.4779.3.11.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> Baytech-MIB-403-1::sBTASensorIndex.1

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> sBTASensorIndex.1
