What is atmfCESAal1SeqErrors?
This counter tracks how many times the sequence number in an incoming AAL1 (ATM Adaptation Layer 1) Type 1 SAR-PDU (Segmentation and Reassembly Protocol Data Unit) causes the receiver to lose synchronization with the transmitter, as defined in ITU-T I.363.1. Sequence errors indicate loss or reordering of cells in the AAL1 stream. ATM operators monitor this counter to detect transmission quality problems and potential packet loss in circuit emulation services.
