Category: 4RF Aprisa Radio Backhaul
Description: Defines textual conventions and enumerated types used across 4RF Aprisa XE MIB modules.
Start monitoring vendor-neutral, standards-based MIB, any SNMPv3-capable network device (SNMP engine identity/boot/clock status) with a free 30-day trial of IPNetwork Monitor. Import MIBs, browse SNMP OIDs, create custom SNMP monitors, configure alerts, and monitor any SNMP-enabled network device from a single console.
What Is APRISAXE-TC-4RF?
APRISAXE-TC-4RF defines only textual conventions, shared enumerated types and reusable data type definitions used across the other 4RF Aprisa XE MIB modules; it is a support/definitions module for the 4RF Aprisa XE radio product line rather than a data-bearing MIB in its own right. It contains no monitorable objects of its own, no interface counters, environmental sensors, or fault tables, but instead standardizes how those values are represented in the companion APRISAXE-MIB-4RF and APRISAXE-EVENTS-4RF modules. Because it carries no runtime data, it plays no direct role in hardware/software status monitoring beyond ensuring consistent typing of values reported elsewhere. It is entirely depended upon by the other Aprisa XE MIB modules, which IMPORT its type definitions. It is deployed alongside the main Aprisa XE MIBs wherever 4RF radio equipment is managed via SNMP, but is never polled directly by a monitoring system. Engineers can download the APRISAXE-TC-4RF file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in APRISAXE-TC-4RF. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- 4RF Aprisa XE point-to-point radio (supporting definitions module, not directly polled)
Monitoring Examples
This is a textual-conventions-only definitions module with no sample runtime objects of its own; it defines shared types (such as enumerations for alarm/status values) that are imported and used by APRISAXE-MIB-4RF and APRISAXE-EVENTS-4RF rather than exposing any pollable OIDs itself, so no monitoring scenario applies to this module directly.
