alaVrrpCurrentPriority
Module: ALCATEL-IND1-VRRP-MIB
OID (symbolic): ALCATEL-IND1-VRRP-MIB::alaVrrpCurrentPriority
OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6486.801.1.2.1.28.1.1.3.1.1.1
Node type: OBJECT-TYPE
Type: Integer32
Access: read-only
Description: This object specifies the priority currently used for the virtual router master election process. Higher values imply higher priority.
A priority of '0', although not settable, is sent by the master router to indicate that this router has ceased to participate in VRRP and a backup virtual router should transition to become a new master.
A priority of 255 is used for the router that owns the associated IP address(es).
What is alaVrrpCurrentPriority?
This read-only integer (0-255) shows the current VRRP priority used in master election, higher values win. Network engineers monitor this to verify tracked items are dynamically adjusting priority; priority 0 announces departure, 255 is the owner. Reflects real-time priority state.
