Description: Activate a loopback on the SONET port. The SONET port must be in a shutdown state to activate any type of loopback.
What is tmnxSonetLoopback?
Activates a loopback mode (such as internal or line loopback) on a SONET port that has been administratively shut down, used for testing and fault isolation. Loopback must be cleared and the port re-enabled before the port can carry live traffic again.
