Module: ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-PORT-MIB

OID (symbolic): ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tmnxPortEtherDuplex

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.2.4.4.1.2

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: INTEGER

Access: read-write

Description: The tmnxPortEtherDuplex variable specifies the duplex mode used by the Ethernet interface if tmnxPortEtherAutoNegotiate has a value of 'false' or 'limited'. If tmnxPortEtherAutoNegotiate has a value of 'true', the link parameters are negotiated with the far end and the tmnxPortEtherDuplex variable is ignored. A value of 'fullDuplex' sets the link to full duplex mode. A value of 'halfDuplex' sets the link to half duplex mode. tmnxPortEtherDuplex is only valid on Ethernet interfaces that support multiple duplex modes.

What is tmnxPortEtherDuplex?

Configures the duplex mode (half or full) for the Ethernet interface when auto-negotiation is disabled or limited. When auto-negotiation is enabled, this setting is overridden by the negotiated result from the far-end device.

Examples

Walk all instances (SNMPv2c):

snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.2.4.4.1.2
snmpwalk -v2c -c public <target> ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tmnxPortEtherDuplex

Get a specific instance (index 1):

snmpget -v2c -c public <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.2.4.4.1.2.1
snmpget -v2c -c public <target> ALCATEL-IND1-TIMETRA-PORT-MIB::tmnxPortEtherDuplex.1

Set instance 1 (SNMPv2c):

snmpset -v2c -c private <target> 1.3.6.1.4.1.6527.3.1.2.2.4.4.1.2.1 i <value>

SNMPv3 example:

snmpget -v3 -l authPriv -u snmpv3-user -a SHA -A "AuthPassword1" -x AES -X "PrivPassword1" <target> tmnxPortEtherDuplex.1
