A user supplied string that indicates the on site location of this chassis. This could used for a Common Language Location Identifier, CLLI, code string if desired.
A CLLI code is an 11-character standardized geographic identifier that uniquely identifies the geographic location of places and certain functional categories of equipment unique to the telecommunications industry.
All valid CLLI codes are created, updated and maintained in the Central Location Online Entry System (CLONES) database.
What is tmnxChassisLocation?
Stores a user-defined string describing the physical location of the chassis, which may optionally contain an 11-character CLLI (Common Language Location Identifier) code. This helps operators identify where in a facility or network the chassis is installed.
