Description: This object specifies if, in egress traffic, the DEI/CFI bit will be set or not for the traffic which is not conformant to SLA (Yellow color packets).
enabled(1) -- the DEI/CFI bit will be set in egress traffic. disabled(2) -- the DEI/CFI bit will not be set in egress traffic.
What is alaQoSPortDEIMarking?
Controls whether the DEI (Drop Eligible Indicator) or CFI bit is set in the Ethernet frame header on egress for traffic that exceeds its SLA (yellow/non-conformant packets). When enabled, out-of-profile frames are marked so downstream devices know they are eligible for dropping under congestion.
