Description: Indicates the state of the path. When path state is none it indicates that there are no paths to this prefix/len and the route is being purged from the system. Stale indicates that the peer that advertised this route's nexthop is in the process of graceful restart.
What is alaBgpPathState?
This read-only enum reports the BGP path state: best(1) for selection, feasible(2) as backup, dampened(5), or stale(7) during restart. Engineers monitor it to understand path viability. Best(1) means this path is selected for use.
