Description: Enable/Disable BGP route dampening
What is alaBgpDampening?
This writable toggle enables/disables BGP route flap dampening, which suppresses unstable routes from constantly being advertised. Engineers enable it to reduce CPU and convergence churn on unstable network links. When enabled, routes that flap repeatedly are temporarily suppressed.
