Description: When client cac limit is enabled, the 7920 Phones with old software where the Call Admission Control (CAC) Limit is Specified on the client will be supported on the WLAN. The support for clientCacLimit (by setting to value 1 or 3) cannot be enabled when the bsnDot11EssWmePolicySetting is set to allowed or required. When ap cac limit is enabled, the 7920 Phones with new software where the Call Admission Control (CAC) Limit is advertised by the AP, will be supported on the WLAN.
What is bsnDot11Ess7920PhoneSupport?
Controls support for Cisco 7920 IP phones using older firmware that implements client-side Call Admission Control (CAC) on this WLAN. When client CAC limit mode is set, this setting ensures legacy 7920 handsets can still connect and manage their own call admission.
