This OID enables or disables automatic performance report generation that is sent across the T1 interface's facility data link (FDL). You would enable this when you want the T1 interface to send performance metrics to your management system so you can monitor line quality and detect problems early. Setting this to enabled means the device generates detailed performance reports every 15 minutes and sends them over the FDL; setting it to disabled turns this feature off if you don't need those reports.
