adTSUIQDayT1LineCodeViolation

Module: ADTRAN-TSUIQ-MIB

OID (symbolic): ADTRAN-TSUIQ-MIB::adTSUIQDayT1LineCodeViolation

OID (numeric): 1.3.6.1.4.1.664.2.147.7.1.1.11

Node type: OBJECT-TYPE

Type: Counter

Access: read-only

Description: Count of line code violations received. Line code violations are a combination of BPVs that are not part of B8ZS code and excess zeros. Excess zeros are 8 or more consecutive zeros when set for B8ZS and 15 or more consecutive zeros when set for AMI.

What is adTSUIQDayT1LineCodeViolation?

This OID counts line code violations on a T1 link, which occur when the signal contains invalid bit patterns like too many consecutive zeros or unauthorized bit polarity violations. Network engineers use this metric to assess T1 physical layer health; high counts suggest electrical noise, cable issues, or equipment misconfiguration. If you see this counter jump to 100 after a recent equipment upgrade, it could mean the new hardware is generating invalid T1 line codes due to improper encoding setup.
