What Is ADTRAN-ATLAS-VOICE-MIB?
ADTRAN-ATLAS-VOICE-MIB is an ADTRAN proprietary MIB for voice interfaces on the Atlas family of multiservice access devices. It exposes a voice-interface table indexed by slot and port number, reporting port status and transmit/receive signaling-bit state used for channel-associated signaling (CAS) on T1/E1 voice circuits, plus a separate voice test table. As a hardware/software-status MIB it lets an administrator confirm a voice port's physical state and inspect its CAS signaling bits when diagnosing call-setup or one-way-audio problems. It is deployed on ADTRAN Atlas multiservice access devices carrying TDM voice channels. Engineers can download the ADTRAN-ATLAS-VOICE-MIB file directly to load it into their MIB browser.
IPNetwork Monitor allows you to monitor SNMP objects defined in ADTRAN-ATLAS-VOICE-MIB. Use the built-in SNMP Monitoring Browser to explore available variables, view their current values and descriptions, and select the objects you want to monitor. You can then create SNMP monitors, configure thresholds, and receive alerts when monitored values change.
Supported Devices
- ADTRAN Atlas multiservice access devices
Monitoring Examples
An administrator inspects adATLASVoiceIfTxSignalBits and adATLASVoiceIfRxSignalBits for a specific voice port to confirm the CAS signaling state matches what's expected during a call-setup troubleshooting session.
What Can Be Monitored
- voice port status
- transmit/receive CAS signaling bits
