This read-write parameter sets an integer threshold for Line Errored Seconds (LES), counting 1-second intervals containing at least one line code violation over 15 minutes. Network operators use LES thresholds to track when physical line quality deteriorates enough to warrant technician escalation or line replacement. Example: With a threshold of 3, the system alerts if line code violations appear in more than 3 seconds during the 15-minute window.
